Victoria Braathen is the Director of the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) office responsible for mainland China and Hong Kong market. Braathen comes from the position as adviser on market access at the NSC head office in Tromsø, Norway. Braathen holds a Masters’ Degree in Law from the University of Bergen and a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from the University of Dundee. Before joining the NSC, Braathen has been working with high north affairs and development for UiT - the Arctic University of Norway and the research-based company Akvaplan-Niva. Braathen has also served as advisor to the mayor of Tromsø and the minister of fisheries.
