Bård Bjerken is a senior lawyer and Shanghai representative at Wikborg Rein, one of Norway's largest law firms. He is a candidate for reelection to the Board and for the position of Chairman of the association. Over the past two terms, Bård has actively contributed to the NBA's event calendar as part of the program committee, serving as a speaker at several events and providing legal and practical support to the association. Specializing in maritime law and overseeing much of the firm’s assistance to international clients in China, he brings extensive experience with the issues facing our members. Bård is dual-qualified as a Norwegian lawyer and a Solicitor of England & Wales, with experience working in Norway, London, and Singapore in addition to three years in Shanghai. Bård Bjerken joined NBA China as the Board Member since 2023.
