Carl Magne Rustand is currently serving as the Country Manager China for Kongsberg Maritime and has been a Board Member of the NBA China since 2024. With a background as a master mariner, Carl began his journey with Kongsberg Maritime in 2007. Over the years, Carl has had the privilege of working in various roles within the company, ranging from product management to business development. His experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the maritime industry and the strategic insights necessary to drive growth and innovation. In addition to his professional roles, Carl has been actively representing Kongsberg Maritime in industry-relevant non-governmental organizations (NGOs), where he has had the opportunity to foster collaboration, networking and build strong relationships within the industry.

Carl is committed to furthering the mission of the NBA by fostering networking and collaboration across Norwegian companies, Chinese companies, and government institutions. Carl firmly believes that solutions come through people collaboration and that it is possible to establish win-win situations through increased cooperation.
