Locally employed positions at the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing

The Norwegian Embassy in Beijing has vacant positions.

Position type:

One year temporary advisor positions with the possibility for extension, 100% positions.

Main purpose of the job:

Advisor to diplomats and teams at the embassy, analyze information, maintain networks in various fields, reporting.

Qualifications which would be of particular relevance:

Previous experience/expertise in environmental and climate issues

Previous experience/expertise in economic issues

Previous experience/expertise in cultural exchange and promotion

Good command of social media use

Fluent command of written and spoken English is necessary.

Fluent command of written and spoken Scandinavian languages would be a strong asset.

Command of Chinese language would be an asset.

Personal qualities:

Intercultural understanding, good communication skills, efficiency, service-mindedness, flexibility and friendly attitude. Candidate must be honest and reliable.

Salary:

To be fixed, dependent on experience and qualifications.

All applicants must have a legal basis to live and work in China, either as Chinese citizen or with a correct visa/work permit in case of non-Chinese applicants.
