Vice Chairman Dan Bjorke Repatriates to Norway

Dear NBA members,

Dan Bjørke, the NBA China Vice Chairman in Beijing has decided repatriate back to Norway for his next mission at BI Norwegian Business School, as head of a new division.

Dan has served the organization as Chairman and Vice Chairman for the past years since 2013 and has been an invaluable contributor to the Sino-Norway business community leveraging his long experience and understanding of China. Dan has continued to create values to members with passion and reliability on many projects and activities of NBA China as well as Team Norway. He took the chair role of NABS in 2019 – the most impressive Norway Asia Business Summit with some 1,000 politicians and business delegates held in Shanghai, China.

The Board of Directors would like to express great gratitude to Dan for his enthusiasm and numerous hours he has dedicated to NBA during his tenure of office and wish him all the best in his new endeavors! 

Due to the closeness to the AGM, the Board prefers the election for the vacant BoD position representing Beijing to be held in conjunction with AGM on 2nd of March 2021, where a total of 3 representatives from Beijing will be elected.
 
The Board encourages every interested corporate member based in Beijing to put forward your nominee and encourage you to convey the message to potential candidates. Candidates eligible to be elected shall be able to represent Beijing Region based corporate or small business members (Article of Association, 3.2)
