Dear NBA members,
Taicang Investment Promotion Bureau（TCIP) is a department of Taicang Municipal Government. TCIP is in charge of providing free government services for foreign companies during their new plants site selection, company setup, etc. Taicang is well-known as hometown of German enterprises since the first German Enterprise Kern-Liebers has established in 1993. There are already 380+ German companies up to now. TCIP has accumulated rich experience by working together with foreign clients and it is able to provide all-round services. Nowadays, there are sufficient industrial land, workshops, office buildings and incubators in Taicang. According to the different needs of foreign clients we could provide different proposals.

MORE ABOUT TAICANG
Taicang is located at the southeast of Jiangsu Province, bordering the Yangtze River to the east and Shanghai to the south. Taicang covers an area of 810 square kilometers with a total population of 1.03 million. Among the cities along the Yangtze River, it is the closest city to Shanghai. Taicang city is 35km from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and 72km from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. It takes only 29 minutes by train from Taicang to Hongqiao Airport with the Hu-Su-Tong Railway Phase I. Currently, Hu-Su-Tong Railway Phase II and South Riverine Railway are under construction. The North Riverine Railway, Su-Xi-Chang Railway and Jia-Min Intercity Railway Joint Section are planned. It will only take 30 minutes from Taicang Station to Shanghai East Station by Hu-Su-Tong Railway Phase II in the future. This will give Taicang a seamless connection to Shanghai.
In terms of higher education, Taicang Campus of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Taicang Campus will be put into use in September 2021 and September 2022. Futhermore, Taicang successfully introduced the “Dual Education” system into its vocational training system from Germany as early as 2001.
